Thanks to Matt, I got an iPad for Christmas. He heard me mention it months before and kept it a secret. I’m still figuring out which apps I want, but I did manage to get a couple of cool photo editing apps, Phototoaster and PS Express. It’s quite fun to fiddle with and I’ll be fiddling more with it since the hard drive on my laptop ate it a week ago. (Can we get companies to STOP PUTTING INTERNET EXPLORER IN COMPUTERS?!?)
Bah. Anyway, I’ve got to do something with these two balls of yarn. Not together, but something simple and sweet with each of them. I’m thinking of a pattern that’s not to complicated, but with some oomph. I’d like to think that it’ll be a pattern that I can knit while watching Downton Abbey, but who am I kidding here? I lose rhythm knitting stockinette with that show with all of the twists and turns it takes.
P.S.: Thanks to Danita for supporting a friend and buying the Harper pattern. When she publishes her first self-help book, preferably entitled, “A Cuppa and a Side Eye”, I’ll be the first in line to procure my signed copy.

What a nice hubbie! How are the newlyweds doing anyhow? I guess it’s been over a year? Wow!
Those yarns would be nice with a cream or warm gray or charcoal. Glad you’re writing again!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! I just added that title to the LIST! (I also just guffawed outright in this office.) So good.
